Strömstad Cykel – Bike Rental Terms & Conditions

1. General
By renting a bicycle from Strömstad Cykel, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions. The renter must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a legal guardian.

2. Rental Period & Returns

• Bicycles can be rented by 4 hours, day, or longer as agreed.
• The rental period begins when the bike is handed over and ends when it is returned to Strömstad Cykel during business hours.
• Late returns will incur additional charges.

3. Payment & Deposit

• Full payment is required at the time of rental at the latest.

4. Renter’s Responsibility

• The renter is responsible for the bike and any accessories during the rental period.
• Any damages beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the renter.
• Loss or theft of the bike will result in a charge equal to the replacement value.

5. Usage & Safety

• The bike must be used responsibly and in accordance with local traffic laws.
• Helmets (SEK 100:-) and locks (free), are provided upon request and should be used.
• Strömstad Cykel is not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the rental period.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental period are eligible for a full refund.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental period.

7. Liability Waiver
The renter acknowledges that cycling involves risks and agrees that Strömstad Cykel is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses during the rental period.

By signing the rental agreement or accepting the bicycle, the renter agrees to these terms.
